The American Overseas Network (AON) is dedicated to respecting the privacy of members and to maintaining a full disclosure policy regarding the information it has at its disposal.

The American Overseas Network takes every necessary precaution to protect the personal information of its members. User information is protected by SSL, the best encryption protocol available. AON is the only authorized owner of information collected through any of its services.

Any information regarding members of AON is obtained only through voluntarily completed registration forms. This information, in turn, is used to contact members about services offered.
A profile of members is maintained by AON and is obtained from information provided only by members themselves. The information that is stored is collected through cookies, log files, clear gifts, and third parties.

Member information may be shared with third parties when and if AON partners with other organizations to provide special services. However, these third parties will not be allowed to independently use AON membership information except for the purpose of providing these services.

AON offers links to other web sites yet the American Overseas Network is not responsible for the privacy policies and practices of these other sites. The privacy practices of AON apply only to the information collected from its members.

Member participation in AON surveys is entirely voluntary. The information collected by a survey is used to improve the level of service offered by American Overseas Network as well as to better monitor member requests.

The American Overseas Network requests that members refer others to join the organization and these individuals will receive a one-time only email inviting visitation to the AON web site. This information may be stored by AON only to track the success of our referral program.
